I'm the guy down the street. I served this country overseas and came home to Plainfield. I drove my neighbors around because nobody was doing it right. I built real technology with no degree because I refused to wait for someone else to figure it out. I am running for the 97th District because somebody has to — and it might as well be one of us.
Every meeting. Every vote. Every phone call in my official capacity. On camera. Posted publicly. No spin. No press release. Just me, on the record, every time.
You shouldn't have to file a freedom of information request to find out what your own representative is doing. That is backwards. I am going to fix it on day one and I am not going to stop.
Public servants work for the public. It is time they acted like it.
On camera, with my reasoning in plain English. Not talking points. Not a fundraising email. Me, looking you in the eye, telling you exactly why.
No back rooms. No handshake deals in a hallway. If I am there in my official capacity, the camera is on. Period.
Lobbyists, colleagues, constituents — if it is official business, it is public. I will not have two versions of what I said.
Not buried in a database nobody knows about. Posted where you can actually find it. Where your kids can find it. That is the whole point.
I live here. I shop at the same stores. I sit in the same traffic on Route 55. I am not some career politician who parachuted in from Springfield with a consultant and a script — I am your neighbor who looked around, got tired of waiting for someone else to step up, and decided to go do it himself.
I served in Iraq as an airborne soldier in electronic warfare. I came home, built a live technology platform with no computer science degree because I refused to let not knowing stop me. I started a community rideshare because my neighbors needed reliable rides and the big apps were not built for us out here. Every single thing I have ever done started with seeing something broken and deciding to fix it.
This district has gone 52 to 48 twice in a row. Those margins are real people — people who are almost there, people who are ready for something different, people who just need to know that a real one is on the ballot. I am asking you to go the rest of the way. Not for a party. Not for a machine. For the guy on your block who took an oath to this country and still means every word of it.
That is literally the whole thing. Show up. Early voting counts too. Find your polling place at Illinois.gov. Put it in your calendar right now.
Look for Illinois House of Representatives, 97th District on your ballot. You will see a write-in line. That line is why you are here.
Write RUDY MILO — spelled exactly like that, all caps if you can. Misspelled write-ins get thrown out. You came all this way, get it right and make it count.
Text it. Post it. Say it at the dinner table. This write-in only works if people walk in already knowing the spelling. You are the campaign. Go.
There is no campaign office. No paid staff. No war chest. No consultant. It is just me and the people in this district who are tired of getting the same two options every two years and being told to pick one.
Leave your name. I will reach out to you personally — not a staffer, not an autoresponder, me. And then go make sure every person you know in the 97th District can spell RUDY MILO before they walk into that polling place. That is the campaign. That is all of it. You got this.
You are in. ★
Rudy will reach out personally. Now go tell five people: write RUDY MILO — R-U-D-Y M-I-L-O — November 3rd. This is how a neighbor wins. You got it.Before this campaign there was a rideshare for neighbors who needed reliable rides, and a practice teaching regular people to use AI without a tech background. Not a résumé. Just problems that needed solving, so they got solved. Same reason I am running.
Built it because Uber wasn't cutting it in the suburbs and my neighbors needed rides they could trust. Vetted drivers, no surge pricing, same day. Neighbors helping neighbors — imagine that.
Request a Ride Apply to DriveNo CS degree, no bootcamp — just figured out how to build real things with AI and started teaching other people to do the same. If I can do it, you can do it.
